This morning in the car Thea was telling me about an incident at school where they were to explain the class what country they were from. She was telling me that one of the girls from her class was claiming that she was from Ghana when she was clearly not. She is from Lebanon Thea said. After a while she asked me: “Where exactly am I from?” What to answer?
a) You were born in London and thus you are British
b) You have spent most of your life in Ghana and thus you are Ghanaian
c) You have a British and a Danish Passport and your parents and grandparents all come from UK and Denmark and thus you are both British and Danish
d) Other?

After having seen the photos from Thea's birthday party - belated Happy Birthday wishes to her - it's clear that she is Danish (and of course a bit British too).
